Nicholas Ralph, a Scottish actor, will make his TV debut in Channel 5’s reboot of classic drama, All Creatures Great and Small, in 2020.
After being cast in the iconic role of beloved vet James Herriot, made famous by Christopher Timothy in the 1970s and 80s, the 29 year old is set to lead a cast including The Durrells star Callum Woodshouse and White Gold’s Rachel Shenton. Ralph, a ‘powerful stage presence’ who’s worked extensively with The National Theatre of Scotland, graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2017, making an appearance in Björn Runge’s acclaimed film, The Wife, that same year, before gaining stage credits in Love Despite Life, Romeo and Juliet, Death of a Salesman, Cinderella, and Captain Amazing, and more recently 549: Scots of the Spanish Civil War.
